We would also like this session to be a learning and sharing session where regional economies who have progressed on the UA agenda, can share their best practices for other regions. *Describe the Relevance of Your Session to APrIGF* Universal Acceptance (UA) ensures that all domain names, including new top-level domains (TLDs), Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), and email addresses are treated equally and can be used by all Internet-enabled applications, devices, and systems. Given the rich diversity of scripts, language and culture in the APAC region, UA could be the unifying gateway to the next billion Internet users and for governments to be more digitally inclusive- including getting marginalized communities online. *Methodology / Agenda (Please add rows by clicking "+" on the right)* Time frame (e.g. 5 minutes, 20 minutes, should add up to 60 minutes) Description 60 minutes Hybrid Format: 1. Question: How will you facilitate interaction between onsite and online speakers and attendees? Answer: With the help of the onsite Moderator and the online Moderator the session will be well coordinated using the Zoom room (or other tool provided by IGF2022 organizers). Also, inputs from both the onsite speakers and online speakers will be well-planned so we could get engagements into the program. Furthermore, the online Moderator will monitor the chat sessions and the questions sessions in the online platform to be used so we could get their input and answer all necessary questions from them. 2. Question: How will you design the session to ensure the best possible experience for online and onsite participants? Answer: Equal opportunity will be given to both online and onsite participants so we could take note of their inputs so they can feel engaged. 3. Question: Please note any complementary online tools/platforms you plan to use to increase participation and interaction during the session. Answer: We will use Google Sheets to collect necessary information about participants both onsite and online who would want to be contacted later in order to become UA compliant. We will also do a quick online poll to see how many participants use domain names in local languages and also whether their email servers are UA compliant using the online UASG email checking tool. *Please provide 3 subject matter tags that best describe your session.* *Moderators & Speakers Info (Please complete where possible)* - Moderator (Primary) - Name: Mr. Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu - Email: mahaqueanu@gmail.com - Organization: BIGF - Designation: Secretary General - Gender: Male - Economy / Country of Residence: Bangladesh - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One - Moderator (Facilitator) - Name: Mr. AHM Bazlur Rahman - Email: ceo@bnnrc.net - Organization: BNNRC - Designation: Chief Executive Officer - Gender: Male - Economy / Country of Residence: Bangladesh - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One - Speaker 1 - Name: Mr. Jia-Rong Low - Email: jiarong.low@icann.org - Organization: ICANN - Designation: Vice President, Asia-Pacific - Gender: Male - Economy / Country of Residence: Singapore - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One - Speaker 2 - Name: Dr. Ajay Data, - Email: ajay.d@data.in - Organization: Data Group of Industries, - Designation: Managing Director - Gender: Male - Economy / Country of Residence: India - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One - Speaker 3 - Name: Mr. Nitin Wali - Email: nitin.wali@icann.org - Organization: ICANN - Designation: Sr. Director, South Asia - Gender: Male - Economy / Country of Residence: India - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One - Speaker 4 - Name: Ms. Seda Akbulut - Email: seda.akbulut@icann.org - Organization: ICANN - Designation: UA Program Manager Global Domains - Gender: Female - Economy / Country of Residence: Turkey - Stakeholder Group: Select One - Expected Presence: Select One - Status of Confirmation: Select One *Please explain the rationale for choosing each of the above contributors to the session.* Universal Acceptance: Route to Digital Inclusion for the Next Billion and Beyond.
