Hello Team!Based on request from today's meeting I have put up the following recommendations viz:Recommendations to Enhance UA Day Celebrations and beyond 1. Serious Engagement: UA Day should be taken seriously, with efforts to promote it in the most remote areas of our countries, as these regions are where awareness is most needed. 2. Encouraging Participation: The conditions for collaborating with ICANN should be made more accessible to encourage stakeholder participation. This includes relaxing restrictions on the use of the ICANN logo, allowing more organizations to host UA Day events, which will help increase awareness. 3. Simplified Logo Usage: Organizations wishing to use the ICANN logo should only need to submit a request along with their event agenda, provided they are legitimate organizations. 4. Active UA Ambassadors: We should select UA Ambassadors who are genuinely committed to the initiative, rather than those seeking the title without engagement. 5. Defined Responsibilities: UA Ambassadors should be assigned specific responsibilities and tasks, with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established to measure their contributions. 6. Increased Funding: There is a clear need for increased funding, as evidence shows that programs with specific budgets are more impactful than those operating on a zero budget. 7. Expanded Activities: UA Day should encompass additional activities beyond the main celebration to ensure that programs are well-organized and not driven solely by personal motivations. By implementing these recommendations, we can significantly enhance the impact of UA Day celebrations. *Engr.
