We are currently prioritizing our backlog and without stack ranking of this feature against other work I can't commit to anything at this point. Adding @Bogdan Brinza<mailto:Bogdan.Brinza@microsoft.com> and @Bo Cupp<mailto:pcupp@microsoft.com> as an FYI. Perhaps, we can start from the explainer to gauge Chrome's interest in this tech. @Mark Svancarek (CELA)<mailto:marksv@microsoft.com> and @Michael Champion<mailto:Michael.Champion@microsoft.com> we'll reply to this thread with next steps on this. Any chance of finding the person/people within MSFT who lead activities in W3C and/or WHATWG?
As far as I can tell, the actual changes to the browser would be tiny, it's just someone has to be willing to do it. Regards, John Levine, john.levine@standcore.com<mailto:john.levine@standcore.com> Standcore LLC
