What is status of EAI on Thunderbird?
Thunderbird can display mails correct, but can't do the following.. 1. configure EAI account. 2. Reply to email from EAI account. 3. Can't send email to EAI address. Microsoft outllook works flawless. Thanks. On 24 February 2018 14:40:44 GMT+05:30, Arnt Gulbrandsen <arnt@gulbrandsen.priv.no> wrote:

AOL.
I found the source code though. There's no trace of EAI support.

Keep in mind that Thunderbird is officiallly abandonware. Mozilla said they'd stop developing it, but I keep seeing new versions which as far as I can tell are just passing through updates to the code shared with other projects. But since it's open source, feel free to improve it. R's, John
In a recent meeting with some Mozilla folks.... Thunderbird is not dead. Instead, it's ties to Firefox's code have been severed so that the advancement of neither is constrained by the other. There is less paid engineering time devoted to Thunderbird, but it is far from dead. -----Original Message----- From: UA-EAI [mailto:ua-eai-bounces@icann.org] On Behalf Of John Levine Sent: Sunday, 25 February 2018 12:24 PM To: ua-eai@icann.org Subject: Re: [UA-EAI] What is status of EAI on Thunderbird? Hey, look at that, it's undead. Just as well, it's the only MUA my wife wants to use. https://blog.mozilla.org/thunderbird/2017/05/thunderbirds-future-home/ Regards, John Levine, john.levine@standcore.com Standcore LLC
Apparently it's still part of the test suite used by Exchange Online engineers. -----Original Message----- From: UA-EAI <ua-eai-bounces@icann.org> On Behalf Of John Levine Sent: Saturday, February 24, 2018 3:45 PM To: Don Hollander <don.hollander@icann.org> Cc: ua-eai@icann.org Subject: Re: [UA-EAI] What is status of EAI on Thunderbird?
