Is there any accountability mechanism which triggers actions?
For instance, if a constituency only finds itself with an even lower
than 26% women for leadership in an election, is there a fail-safe? For instance, accompanying new leadership processes via a "diversity observer committee" or seminars...
the diversity as topic comes from the work on accountability at workstream1 and deemed necessary to work on for ws2 ,same like for SO/AC accountability and so on. we are are in exploratory phase here trying to get more information and understanding about the current state. we are not necessarily assuming an exisiting specific mechanisms and so we need to to reach SO/AC/SG/C to inquiry them if they have any. I see that may be an overlap here with the SO/AC subgroup work and we should liaise with the co-rapporteurs there since that subgroup already initiated a questionnaire asking the SO/AC, in order to avoid any duplication. thanks again for putting that in strawman document, that will make things more easier for us to track. Thanks for those comments. can you add them to the strawman document so we can capture them? with regard to PTI, I assume we should check the scoping coming from ws1. for review teams, they are existing vehicles since we had the AoC and similar to working groups etc. for SOI, I think a first step concerns the existing collected data to have stats then we can consider what can be added in SOI later on and possibly more with regard constraints such privacy, process, and where and how to collect those data.
the questionnaire is basically to get input from AC/SO and also sharing with them our current understanding. so it would include the items you mentioned.

diversity elements should also be considered in PTI & review teams , I mean the new entities affiliated to ICANN after the transition? to achieve the WS objective of enhancing the accountability. Just to include them as input in the questionnaire and a resource in the data collection process.
I think information that can be gotten from SOI are not sufficient because no question about sex or language in the SOI form. As for drafting the questionnaire, I think we should reach ACs/SOs leaders first with the question about their current consideration of diversity and their future requirements before drafting the questionnaire.
