Wsis+20 review elements paper released
Hi all The paper has been released: https://publicadministration.desa.un.org/sites/default/files/2021-04/2025/WS... Internet governance is dealt with at paragraphs 57-64. On a very quick first read this doesn't look brilliant. Jordan Jordan Carter — .au Domain Administration +61-417-243-647 on Signal or iMessage
Hi Jordan, all, Thanks for sharing it. I’d also invite people to take a look at the submission form<https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2zWeD09UYE-9zF6kFubccA9M...> enabled by UNDESA to receive written contributions (due 15 July). Based on the ample language used in the elements paper, there's plenty of room to offer concrete ideas— for instance, there is no mention of any preference regarding the IGF’s mandate but the statement that they’ll address it in the Zero Draft. For colleagues attending the IGF meeting, we’ll have a networking session on Monday, 23 at 16:00 CEST<https://igf2025.sched.com/event/26G2M/networking-session-#127-the-internet-s...>, where we’ll discuss quick takes on the elements paper. If you’re attending the event, look for Workshop Room 4. There will also be remote participation available. Jordan, thanks. Indeed! it goes back to "multilateral" and reads like the years 2003-2025 had never happened. Got to work on steering towards a much better outcome and it looks uphill. Alejandro Pisanty On Fri, Jun 20, 2025 at 8:53 AM Jordan Carter via wsis20 <wsis20@icann.org> wrote:
