Hi Robin, That is part of what we will be discussing at our legal sub-team dinner tonight. Initially we have an estimate of having the law firm identified and contracted by the end of February. Then, depending on their knowledge about ICANN, we estimate having their advice by late march. These are estimate dates. Of course. Best regards, León

What is the estimated timeline by which CCWG can hire its own lawyers to get an independent non-conflicted viewpoint? If it is much longer, we should do it sans ICANN legal staff "assistance".
Thanks, Robin

All, may I kindly ask we discuss this subject tomorrow during our session?
Remember, we got this initial legal feedback because we asked for it. We did not want to wait until our legal sub team has finished its work on a scoping document.
We will discuss the topic tomorrow, which will be the ideal opportunity to exchange thoughts and avoid further misunderstandings. At least the document has stimulated a discussion on potential outcomes.
