2015-05-01 and 2015-05-04 are public holidays here in Namibia and this year very pleasantly located. So if it was 2015-05-04/05 <tel:2015-05-04%2F05> it would not interfere much. If not it'll be not too bad, as long as I know well in advance.
Location is not so much of importance, especially if it is in a major hub, but if it could be narrowed down to the hub as soon as possible it would help with keeping airfare costs down by early booking.
