This is indeed very sad news. We had a good discussion just a month ago. The Internet community has lost a very active and influential member. May his soul rest in peace. Dear Members,
I have just arrived Hamburg to hear the shocking sad news of the death of Olivier Kouami who died from a heart attack.
Olivier is the current co-chair of the AFRALO newsletter team and an active leader within AFRALO community and internet governance community as a whole. Oliver was also very involved in the open source community (FOSSFA) which was where I first got to meet and work with him over 15years ago.
My condolences to his family and the entire Africa internet community.
