Dear all, I hope this email finds you well. I would like to thank @Raymond Mamattah <mamattah.raymond@gmail.com> for the nomination and his support. I would also like to thank all the people in our AFRALO family, for whom I have a great deal of respect and admiration for their great open-mindedness and the efforts made for the development of our community. The challenges of the Internet ecosystem in our region are increasingly great and numerous, but it is gratifying to see that the AFRALO community has many more members ready to volunteer to meet the daily challenges. It is therefore with pleasure that I accept the nomination to continue to contribute together to meet our challenges. As a legal specialist in digital law, my mandate within ALAC is truly instructive, as it has allowed me, while learning, to live an enriching experience through the design of various procedures and policies that govern the ecosystem. These policies and procedures are the fundamental bases that guide all decisions and actions that allow the development of the entire Internet infrastructure. As a member of ALAC, working within the CPWG and OFB working groups, our reflections and studies focus on protocols, DNS, universal acceptance, the emergence of AI, etc., and the development of new gTLDs, around which several works have led to the provision of facilities such as the support program. Financial management with transparency and accountability is also part of our work. All of this is a real experience that I want to further consolidate for the benefit of our community by continuing to proudly carry the voice of AFRALO in the development and proposal of these policies within ALAC. Your support and accompaniment, which you have given me so far, are still necessary, and I know I can count on everyone so that together we can continue to develop our region. You can find my SOI here: https://urls.fr/HkCXK6 <https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/atlarge/pages/99736530/Ra+...> *** *** *** Chers tous, J'espère que mon mail vous retrouve en pleine forme. Dear All, Thank you very much, Olabimpe, for this kind nomination and for your generous words. I truly appreciate the confidence and support. Being part of the AFRALO and broader ICANN community continues to be a meaningful journey for me, particularly through contributions around connectivity, DNS ecosystems, Universal Acceptance, Internet security, and capacity building. I am also increasingly engaged in emerging areas such as the intersection of AI and DNS, the evolving landscape of new gTLDs, and the importance of preparing for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) in strengthening the resilience of the Internet’s infrastructure. I remain committed to supporting our shared goals and amplifying Africa’s voice across these critical areas. After careful consideration, I would like to respectfully step back from this particular nomination at this time. I remain, however, very keen to continue contributing to the community, especially in roles that support coordination, knowledge sharing, and sustained engagement, such as Secretariat functions, where I believe I can add meaningful value. I look forward to continuing to collaborate with everyone in advancing AFRALO’s priorities. Once again , Thank you for your trust in my capabilities and works. Tinuade’s decision to step back from the ALAC nomination reflects both her humility and her clarity of purpose—qualities that speak volumes about her leadership and commitment to service. Rather than stepping away, she has expressed a strong willingness to continue contributing in a capacity where she can create sustained impact, particularly in coordination, knowledge sharing, and community engagement. From consistent participation in ICANN meetings to actively sharing valuable resources—links, insights, and relevant materials, Tinuade has demonstrated a natural alignment with the responsibilities of a Secretariat role. She is often that steady presence ensuring others are informed, included, and empowered. Her background in connectivity infrastructure, DNS ecosystems, Universal Acceptance (UA), DNSSEC, and Internet security, combined with her growing interest in areas such as AI in DNS, new gTLDs, and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), positions her uniquely to support AFRALO’s operational effectiveness while strengthening knowledge flow within the community. I am confident that in a Secretariat capacity, Tinuade will further enhance collaboration, improve information dissemination, and support the continuity of AFRALO’s work with diligence and excellence. I strongly support this nomination. Dear All,
Thank you very much, Olabimpe, for this kind nomination and for your generous words.

Dear AfRALO Community, I would like to formally second the candidature of Hervé Sètondji Hounzandji for a second term as Secretary of AFRALO. During his tenure, Hervé has demonstrated reliability, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility in managing the administrative and coordination functions of our organization. The role of Secretary is often understated, yet it is fundamental to the effectiveness and continuity of AFRALO’s operations. Hervé has consistently ensured that communication flows remain structured, records are properly maintained and our processes are executed with professionalism. What distinguishes Hervé is his ability to combine operational efficiency with a collaborative mindset. He engages constructively with members across the region, facilitates coordination without bias and contributes to maintaining a cohesive and respectful working environment within AFRALO. Continuity in this role is particularly valuable. A second term would allow him to build on the systems, practices and institutional knowledge already established, while further strengthening the consistency and responsiveness of our internal processes. In a community that relies heavily on coordination across diverse stakeholders and time zones, Hervé’s steady and dependable approach is an asset. His reappointment would support stability and reinforce the administrative backbone of AFRALO. I therefore fully support his candidature for a second term. Dear all, I hope you had a lovely weekend and are preparing for a new week. With the same spirit of anticipation, I would love to add my voice in nomination for the At-Large leadership position. I nominate Tinuade Oguntuyi. Tinuade Oguntuyi is a multi-award-winning transformational technology leader with over a decade of experience in telecoms, IP networks, technical sales, IT solutions, infrastructure design, consulting, policy, and customer experience. She currently serves as General Manager, Technical at Information Connectivity Solutions Limited (ICSL) one of Nigeria's leading ISPs. There, she has led the planning and execution of hundreds of internet and connectivity infrastructure projects across 12+ sectors, including government, education, and financial institutions. She specialises in leveraging satellite, fibre optics, microwave, SIM, cloud, and AI-based solutions to bridge Nigeria's digital divide especially in rural and underserved communities. Tinuade Oguntuyi brings a powerful combination of *technical expertise, governance insight, and community leadership* that aligns strongly with the mission of the At-Large community within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. She has demonstrated consistent leadership in *cybersecurity, risk management, and information systems governance*, with a strong understanding of how internet infrastructure impacts *end users, trust, and digital resilience*. Her work reflects a deep commitment to *building secure, inclusive, and accountable digital ecosystems*, particularly within emerging and underrepresented regions. A key strength she brings is her ability to *bridge technical and non-technical communities*—translating complex cybersecurity and internet governance issues into accessible insights that empower broader participation. This is critical to the At-Large model, which prioritizes *end-user representation and multistakeholder engagement*. Additionally, she has a proven track record in *mentorship, capacity building, and community engagement*, supporting the growth of cybersecurity professionals and strengthening participation in global digital policy spaces. Her perspective from Africa adds valuable insight into *regional challenges such as connectivity gaps, DNS security awareness, and digital inclusion*, ensuring policy discussions remain globally representative and grounded in real-world needs. Dear All, I am pleased to express my support for the nomination of Tinuade Oguntuyi for an At-Large leadership position within the 2026 nomination cycle. Tinuade has demonstrated meaningful engagement within the At-Large community and brings a strong commitment to advancing end-user participation in Internet governance. Her involvement reflects the values of inclusivity, collaboration, and regional representation that are central to the mission of AFRALO and the broader ALAC structure. I believe her continued participation in a leadership capacity would contribute positively to strengthening African representation and ensuring that diverse end-user perspectives are reflected in ICANN policy development processes.
