NOW OPEN: ALAC Vote on ALS Applications August 2009
Dear All, We have been requested by the Chair of the ALAC to start vote on the three ALS applications that are currently ready for approval by the ALAC. Members of the ALAC recently received two emails, one with their voting credentials for this vote and another one with background information on the applications. The questions to be put will be the following: ***** 1. Should the regional advice from APRALO for applicant (129) Open Standards and Internet Association (OSIA) be rejected? The regional advice was to accept the application. With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and do NOT accredit this ALS Abstain ***** 2. Should the regional advice from NARALO for applicant (128) San Francisco Bay ISOC be rejected? The regional advice was to accept the application With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and do NOT accredit this ALS Abstain ***** 3. Should the regional advice from NARALO for applicant (130) Greater Toronto Area Linux Users Group (GTALug) be rejected? The regional advice was to accept the application With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and do NOT accredit this ALS Abstain ***** The Vote will be open until Monday, August 24th 2009 at 2359 UTC. Please note that there is a link entitled ³See who voted² at the bottom of the voting page, which allows you to see who has voted so far. Also, please note that the two votes are not linked to each other but are on two separate pages. This means that you do not have to vote on them at the same time.
