Don't you think that. Any costs will ultimately end up passed on to the end users registering domain names. Customers keep this industry alive.
Excellent point. I am not sure who paid at this stage whether it was ICANN or the GNSO. You are absolutely right, there is a greater likelihood that it will be passed down to registrants, hence the need to monitor this closely.
