Sergio, We cannot ignore the interest of individual Internet users. That is why we are here! The Bylaws read: "The role of the ALAC shall be to consider and provide advice on the activities of ICANN, insofar as they relate to the interests of individual Internet users." ALSes are one mechanism by which we try to do that.
