We do not need translators per se, but we do need people who understand the technical side of what ICANN does - especially things like IDNs - who can help to check translations produced by professional translators.
We are particularly short of Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) checkers - obviously it would be very helpful if you are fluent in both the language you are checking, and English, to compare the original English text to the translated output.
