It seems to me the key issue is not whether a pharm. name can be registered in this TLD but whether pharmaceutical product can be offered to sell via that name around the world. Currently, this is definitely not the case. Those legitimate drugs meeting the regulatory or licensing rules in say NL may well be banned in many other countries.
