At 11:17 AM -0500 on 3/5/07, Mr. Robert Guerra wrote to a bunch of us, saying:
Wendy asks a good question. One that is worthwhile discussing...
The question also came up in the North America ALS list. The general impression is that we have to recognize the fact that few, if any users from the region, will know about ALS's, ALAC and RALOS. As such we should make sure that any structures and rules we create are as open and inclusive as possible to individual users.
Quite so. I'd say if anyone from the general public finds the acronyms in use as numerous and bewildering as I do their interest might flag a little. It would be really helpful to have a primer or participants manual - or is there already one? -- == Neil Schwartzman Chair, Board of Directors CAUCE Canada: The Canadian Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email Canada: +1 (514) 485-9713 US: +1 (303) 800 6345 UK: 020 8144 6345 Skype: spamfighter666 Fax: +1 (419) 793-0430 [AIM / MSN / Yahoo!]: CAUCECanada [Web]: http://cauce.ca See http://stopspamhere.ca for ways to prevent spam from hitting your inbox.
