An ad hoc ALAC Election Rules Working Group has been created to help define the election rules for selecting the Board liaison. The working group is seeking input , specifically a text for a recommended procedure. If not, The candidate with fewest #1 votes is dropped from the list and his/ her next (#2) votes are allocated to the remaining candidates; The process continues until one candidate has a simple majority of the votes.
