I can ensure that the minutes get posted there as well as on the ALAC site - however the alac.icann.org site was updated on the 11th April of this year to make clear that the recordings and minutes of meetings after those on the site could be found on the wiki - so these are all accessible.] On the documents that can certainly be done. Given how this matter has been slipping over time, I just wanted to point out that this is a real issue, right here right now... perhaps we can get a decent timeshare of someone @ ICANN so that at least minutes and official documents are posted promptly on alac.icann.org, until you can switch to the new one? That'd help already.
(Not to mention that we are about to undergo a review and we should at least be able to publish the material to be reviewed...)

Guys, This is something that will have a major impact on us all: ARE DOMAINS "PROPERTY". This has been a question that has bobbled back and forth in lawsuits and articles, opinion letters submitted by attorneys and personal/corporate interests. We thought we'd put it to rest by letting the Global Community manifest their own opinions. We're encouraging participation as this will have a significant bearing on domain governance going forward. Vote at: www.InternetCommerce.org Thank you all. -Jude
Seems to me that domains are property which is leasehold, ie if the owner fails to pay the lease (registration fee) they lose their lease. On 4/26/07, Jude Augusta <jude@internetcommerce.org> wrote:

I agree, but I'm not sure about the "lease" from the legal POW. The legal nature is still obscure in Brazil (intellectual property? cession/right of use?), with some push to the trademarks from corporate lawyers and IP agents. This is maybe a subject we should look into. I will curse the day when we allow the corporate lawyers to decide the definition. I think the UDRP did a fairly good job defining the stuff, but has been completely miscontrued by the attorneys, politicians, and judges, most of whom had no idea what they were talking about in the first place. -Randy Glass A@L On 4/26/07, Omar Kaminski <omar@kaminski.adv.br> wrote:

HI Nick, Vittorio Sorry I've been out for almost a week on site. How about having documents on the wiki when they are being worked on, and when they are official/agreed, like the resolutions, minutes of meetings, etc, posted to the main site? Cross-linking will also need to be done, so that the wiki page points to the final unchanging document. The site should also link to the wiki (relevant pages - that way people can go to the main site, then follow the link to the "working documents" on particular issues.
