My recollection is that we allowed observers to attend any of our meetings. They did not participate but were allowed to attend and observe in person. Brian, do I remember correctly? ________________________________________ From: atrt2-bounces@icann.org [atrt2-bounces@icann.org] On Behalf Of David Conrad [drc@virtualized.org] Sent: Monday, March 04, 2013 6:44 PM To: Avri Doria Cc: ATRT2 Subject: Re: [atrt2] Open Archive Avri, Thanks for the clarification. I don't have qualms about the meetings being listened to. There might be some concerns about logistics, particularly for live streaming and/or room size for in-person meetings (I'd have no clue how big a room to reserve myself). Pragmatically speaking, would making transcripts of the meetings publicly available be sufficient? Regards, -drc On Mar 4, 2013, at 3:08 PM, Avri Doria <avri@acm.org> wrote:
Hi,
Open in the sense of being listened to, was my point. I was not necessarily thinking of the LA sessions, especially, being physically open.

Hi,
Just so I understand: the desire is to have meetings be open to anyone? Does this also hold true for the in-person meetings?
Thanks, -drc
