Gary Thanks for your note. I am confused about the term "advisory election" and that the officers would "decide who to appoint to the second NomCom slot." The Officers of the BC have received the email from Marilyn Cade about her complaint to the Ombudsman with respect to the BC elections for the Nominating Committee. The Officers will address that complaint if and when the Ombudsman requests our input. Ombudsman's complaints often take several weeks.
Meanwhile, the second election for the 'large business' slot is open for nominations until end of this Thursday, and the election will follow as previously announced by the Secretariat. The Officers will consider the outcome of that advisory election, and will then decide who to appoint to this second NomCom slot.
