As a member of the Excom which 'selected' (and did not elect) Nomcom appointees it would be appropriate and proper (due to the selection) for me to declare that I have no existing interest in appointments to me made by the Nomcom and if I am approached by this round of the Nomcom (where members selected and not elected by the Excom are present) I undertake to decline any such appointments. I am sure that other members of the Excom will also come forward in like manner. I'm sorry if we did not object before the excomm acted, I missed that it was going to be decided by the excomm only.
We are uncomfortable with the composition of BC representation on the NomComm. We would like to see a large business representative in the mix and want to see if others feel the same way.
