Hi everyone, can we may set back a little here and check the proposed agenda. my understanding is the session will give an opportunity to present updates: what was done within the CCWP with the ,under ongoing consultation, HRIA document and also 2 possibles deliverables aimed for mapping and indicate where it is possible to intervene. Those kind of material will help for more awareness and education within the community, in addition all the reports published lately by Article19. On other hand, with regard to CCWG we are going to get updates from WP4. this doesn't mean that we are going to make decision about what is happening in WP4. as CCWP we can give input and participate in that discussion within the CCWG. About the HR commitment in bylaw, I don't want to see that as for and against, we are not setting a oxford style debate here and we are not going to achieve so much like that. We have also the CCWP working session where we can plan on how to interact and liaise with WP4 if needed. about adding names, I would think we should avoid long list of speaking heads which leaves little space for real discussion and interaction, with more entrenched point of views. so maybe we can have the updates first and the open the floor for discussion. We would invite "pros" and "cons" instead to join as discussants so we can make the Q&A phase quite interactive. I acknowledge that is not necessarily optimal neither thrilling for the invitees but at least we can aim to have a structured discussion leading to some useful output. what about this shorten version: Welcome and Introductions (Niels & Rafik) - 5 minutes Update on GAC WG on Human Rights and International Law (GAC WG co-chairs / Lee Hibbard) - 5 minutes Update on CCWG WP4 on human rights (Leon Sanchez) - 5 minutes Presentation chart (Marilia) - 10 minutes Presentation new report on Human Rights Impact assessments and CSR reporting (Motoko) - 20 minutes Q&A: first questions by invited discussants Best, Rafik 2015-09-30 3:43 GMT+09:00 Michele Neylon - Blacknight < michele@blacknight.com>:
Implementation cannot be in a vacuum Unfortunately with the best intentions in the world it gets overlooked..

concerns about implementation is a likely comment. But lets not drop Avri, lets just broaden the discussion to include some who will argue that piece. SP

Nobody is going to say they don’t support human rights :)
What they might say is that they have concerns about how this is handled …
