Rafik, Thanks a lot for this information. In the past, at least from memory, there were talks about comprehensive UDRP review - aka 'reform' - is this no longer the case? is it incorrect to refer to it as a reform (because there might not be one following a review....?) I would also really appreciate any updates on the HR bylaw - has it been approved or not yet? Thanks so so much, Monika On Mon, Nov 11, 2019 at 11:39 AM Rafik Dammak <rafik.dammak@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Monika, I don't think the term reform is used but checking the charter it is about assessment, review and possibly proposing recommendations if needed , charter here https://gnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/filefield_48755/rpm-charter-15mar... . the charter might be revised prior to phase 2 if necessary by GNSO Council. Dear Monika, The adoption of the report now triggers an implementation process, which, among other things, will include a bylaw change. Best, Niels On 11/11/19 11:23 PM, zalnieriute . wrote:
Dear All,
Thank you so much for your answers, so the adoption of the Resolution means that the Bylaw is now in effect? that the Framework for interpretation has been approved, yes? If thats the case, this is great news!
Thanks so so much for getting back and best wishes from Sydney,
Monika

Hi Monika,
Yes, the Board did adopt the CCWG Workstream 2 report, including the human rights bylaw. The motion was read out by Avri Doria and seconded by Matthew Shears on November 7. The resolutions (2019.11.07.36 – 2019.11.07.41) are here: https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2019-11-07-en
Best wishes,
Ayden

Rafik,
Thanks a lot for this information. In the past, at least from memory, there were talks about comprehensive UDRP review - aka 'reform' - is this no longer the case? is it incorrect to refer to it as a reform (because there might not be one following a review....?)
I would also really appreciate any updates on the HR bylaw - has it been approved or not yet?
Thanks so so much,
Monika

Hi Monika,
I assume you meant UDRP Review. RPM is still on it phase 1 and final report are scheduled for April 2020 based on current timeline provided by the WG. Phase 2 which includes the UDRP review should start after but possibly there would be some changes before . Best,
Rafik

Dear Akriti, Dear HR community members,
Maybe you are also aware when is the UDRP reform starting? I am struggling to find any info. It was meant to start in 2019, after the URS and other 'rights' protection mechanisms, but I think its has not started yet?
Thank you so so much,

Dear Niels, Dear Akriti,
Thanks for sharing this. Has the board approved the HR bylaw?
