ICANN’s draft Statement was suggested by the SSRT (recommendation 1 and 3). The Security, Stability and Rsiliency review is part of ICANN’s commitments under the Affirmation of Commitments. The drafting team has just finished its work. At today’s call the draft will be introduced and explained. Council members are requested to provide feed-back and input on the draft this week ( until Thursday 30 August). Becky and I will consolidate the comments, if any, so it can be submitted by Friday 31 August. Please note that the Council initially intended this to be a ccNSO Statement. However due to time constraints consultation of the community is not feasible. As a result it is now submitted as a draft ccNSO Council Statement as foreseen in the guideline on ccNSO Statements and Position Papers (Section 3). Kind regards, Bart
