Dear Colleagues, I hope you are all doing well and can’t wait for the Council workshop tomorrow! In preparation for the workshop, please find included an updated version of the presentation we discussed at our April Council call. Also, included again is the mind map with all of the work items listed (for reference only). As we discussed, it is time that we as the Council start looking forward over a 3-5 year horizon and have a strategic conversation on how we see the ccNSO evolving and staying relevant for our community. It would be great if we could discuss the results of the workshop at our upcoming Council meeting in three weeks and present our shared view on 1) how we think we serve the needs of our members and broader community and 2) how to (further) strengthen the ccNSO. To start thinking about these two points, you’ll find sets of questions in the presentation, on slides 6, 12, 21 and 24. Please, think about your responses to these questions. Flow of the workshop: We will use the slide deck as an agenda to run through the various topics. To ensure the interactive nature of the workshop, we will be using polls and breakout rooms (we will explain how they work during the workshop). Looking forward to meeting you all virtually!
