Dear Councillors, The call for one (1) volunteer to serve on the 2023 ICANN Nominating Committee (NomCom) on behalf of the ccNSO closed on Friday, 2 September 2022 23:59 UTC. The ccNSO secretariat is now initiating the selection process. Councillors eligible to vote are now expected to make a selection. The deadline for submitting your vote is Friday, 9 September 2022 (17 UTC). After 17 UTC that day, the ccNSO Secretariat will inform Council about the outcome of the selection process. A formal appointment will happen via an online decision (12-14 September). The two candidates, in alphabetical order: * Sophie MITCHELL * Nigel ROBERTS INSTRUCTIONS: After reviewing the enclosed application materials, please select your preferred candidate by sending an email to joke.braeken@icann.org<mailto:joke.braeken@icann.org> , no later than Friday, 9 September 2022 (23:59 UTC). Your most preferred candidate should receive four (2) points, and the least preferred candidate one (1) point. If you believe a candidate does not meet the criteria: please assign zero (0) points. A kind reminder that the ccNSO Secretariat will track and publish for each council member its participation in an election process.
