Dear Councillors,
Approved. Ondrej
An action point from the last Council call was "Action 34-05: The
ccNSO Secretariat to send out a summary of the request on ending fax applications to the ccNSO Council list where it will be subject to voting."
I would like to ask for your approval to end the acceptance of fax
applications to the ccNSO.
The main reason is that it is problematic to archive such
applications. The fax is received in Marina del Rey, needs to be forwarded to me and then there is no real good archiving system for that. The applications submitted via the webform are automatically archived in our web-archives.
I also think that the applicants are skilled enough to fill in the
(very basic) web form, and last, but not least - fax applications are quite rare anyway.
Please, can you send your approval/disapproval to this suggestion to
this list by next Wednesday, 29th October 2008.
Thanks,
Gabi
