Dear all, As you will have noted Victor has stepped down as a member of the ccNSO Council. One of his roles was membership of the ccNSO travel funding committee ( the other members are Dotty and Katrina). As this committee will deal with the travel funding application for Dublin shortly this Council committee will need to be quorate again as soon as possible. Jordi Iparraguirre is willing to take up that role. If you have any questions or objections, please reply to this list by Friday 17 July 2015 noon UTC. Thank you and kind regards, Bart From: <owner-ccnso-council@icann.org<mailto:owner-ccnso-council@icann.org>> on behalf of Victor Abboud <vabboudec@gmail.com<mailto:vabboudec@gmail.com>> Date: Saturday 11 July 2015 00:49 To: "ccnso-council@icann.org<mailto:ccnso-council@icann.org>" <ccnso-council@icann.org<mailto:ccnso-council@icann.org>> Subject: [ccnso-council] Fwd: council for LAC region Dear all , As explained in the mail below , I am stepping down as ccNSO Council Member representing the LAC region. It has been a great experience sharing with you as well as learning from you. Many changes are due for the next months however I am confident that this group will advise and guide our community to the new challenges. Best Regards, Victor Abboud ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Victor Abboud <vabboudec@gmail.com<mailto:vabboudec@gmail.com>> Date: 2015-06-29 15:18 GMT-05:00 Subject: council for LAC region To: Byron Holland <byron.holland@cira.ca<mailto:byron.holland@cira.ca>> Cc: Bart Boswinkel <bart.boswinkel@icann.org<mailto:bart.boswinkel@icann.org>> Dear Byron, As you know from previous communications and conversations we had at the Buenos Aires Icann meeting, I left my position as CEO of NIC.EC<http://NIC.EC> the .EC ccTLD . As part of the LAC ccTLD community I was elected as ccNSO Council Member since March 2011 and 2014. Though my term ends in 2017 and though I maintain certain relationship with NIC.EC<http://NIC.EC>, I believe that is more convenient that another active member of the LAC region have the opportunity to contribute to the ccTLD community through the ccNSO Council. Therefore, I am stepping down from the ccNSO Council as LAC region representative. I wish the ccNSO continues with the hard work and leadership it has demonstrated with you as Chair and the unconditional support of the Council members. If there is anything I might be of help for this community, please count with me. Best Regards, Victor Abboud
