We had governance sessions starting at ICANN69, and subsequent meetings. Today’s session is not a formal vote. Note that the formal process will be followed, polling used today is just a “temperature of the room”. Non ccNSO members are asked not to participate in the polling. The roadmap We are now at a near-final draft of the new rules. The GRC will revise the input and submit its proposal to Council, post 23 December. Council will initiate a vote, potentially followed by an additional community webinar, and a members vote. 1. Who can initiate a vote? We suggest lowering the barrier to 10 members from at least 2 geographic regions. Irina: What if quorum is not met in the first round? This is probably the trickiest part. We had 3 options at ICANN72. We decided to remove the second one. Irina explains both options.
