I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. Do not allow the proposed price cap increases. There is no technical or economic reason for price growth to exceed inflation other than greed. It's already difficult enough for internet entrepreneurs to start businesses without huge amounts of capital backing them. Don't add insult to injury by raising domain registration prices.

To whom it may concern, I oppose the proposed changes that will unduly increase the cost of .com domains. One of my objections it that there is no limit on how much the domain costs can be increased, and also ICAAN's lack of transparency on what they will do with the additional money. In a time of falling cloud compute price, and long term low inflation, I, a person with a degree in economics, see no reason to allow a monopoly to have an above inflation and cost of goods sold increase in price. You're supposed to serve the public. Do your job and deny Verisign's request for a price increase. Mark Iannucci

I am voting against the amendment 3 .com domain because for several reasons as follows: *1. ICANN has made these changes in secret, without consulting or incorporating feedback from the ICANN community or Internet users.* *2. This **will harm us, the customers and the Internet as a whole.* *3. The main motto is to raise the **.COM wholesale domain prices by more than 70% over and above current prices over the next decade, which is unacceptable.* *4. **The contract also allows for other price increases, which could drive prices up further, ultimately making .COM domains less accessible and more expensive for everybody, which is also unacceptable.* *5. **These changes will have significant impact on the Internet for years to come, and only ICANN and Verisign have participated in this decision. This is utterly unacceptable.* *So, as a web developer, I vote against this decision and raising a demand to delete this amendment and ask the other companies and internet communities and users to participate in a discussion before amending any rule.* *Regards,* *Tanmoy Das* *(Web developer from India)*

Hi, I am opposed to the proposed deal with Verisign that would raise prices on domains, allow Verisign to pay ICANN without accountability for how the money is used, and let Verisign become a domain registrar in a conflict of interest. The internet should be an accessible, affordable, and free place for people to exchange information. Thanks, Bret Pimentel

The intended price increases being considered over the next 8 of 10 years is unsatisfactory. It appears to be just another example of corporate greed.
