This price rise plan has a few big issues: 1. Prices that are beyond the young innovation crowd starting new businesses 2. Monopolistic measures like this price rise typically lead to movements to respond - .com is avoided and becomes of less importance online, your price rise is left with the old and big, so you will have about 20 years of joy - the idea that one organisation has such power with internet domain names like .com is seen as a aberration of the intent of the internet in the first place, break it apart and make the changes transparent Good luck

I am a domainer (I invest in domain names as a business). I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices.
