Hello sir, I don't know what's happening but increasing price of my domain is a very high risk situation for me. I belong from a poor family and live in India a developing country. You should know even a little 5$ is a huge sum here. So please don't ruin my future to get of my poverty. There are many other people just like me who want to finish their poverty and this is a great medium for it. Don't take this hope from us. With regards.

Dear receiver at ICANN, I'm kindly asking you to reconsider your plans in regards to .com domain pricing. Small and medium enterprises are the foundation of the Internet and of e-commerce. Thousands of small businesses and livelihoods rely and depend presenting themselves using their own .com domain. It is, therefore, crucial to keep the barrier low for people to run their own online presence and foundation of their online existence. Therefore I am kindly asking you to revise your plans which would allow significant increases in .com pricing over the next 10 years. As everything gets more expensive, it is clear that very moderate changes might be needed over time, but with increased volumes and the size of your operations, there should be efficiencies that allow you to refrain from a rise which could double prices pretty soon. Owning a small business is already an expensive proposition, and the additional cost sought by ICANN which will ultimately be passed along to the business customer (and end customer) is absurd. No reasonable reason exists to levy additional cost when ICANN already controls a monopoly on address/domain registration. The increase is an abuse, and ICANN's ability to hide under the protection of regulation to push increases is identical in nature to actions of the British East India Company and English government that triggered the original revolution in the US. Provide a means for customers/vendors to levy the interaction as an actual market- which this action IS NOT. Cody McFarland Sent via Android

Dear Madam or Sir, I am very concerned about how the ICANN handled the negotiations of its contract regarding the .com TLD with Verisign. The .com TLD is very important to the entire internet community and thus the entire world. Therefore, a contract as significant as this needs to be discussed in the open with taking input from all stakeholders into account. I urge you to not move forward with the current proposed contract until a consensus with the wider internet community can be reached. Thank you, Jonas

Hello! Please seriously consider the impact of your proposed increase on .COM registries over the next several years. We just want to be honest and let you know that we’re not “stuck on .COM”…if your prices dramatically increase, we’ll be looking for another company and so will millions of other people. Dear Sir/Madam, I write to you to express my unconformity in regards the wish to increment the price of .com domains. I believe this change is not justified for a nonprofit organization as this price already covers ICANN´s infrastructure. I do not think this benefits small businesses and people with personal domains and I strongly believe that if this initiative goes forward, people will push to have alternatives. Increasing the price of .COM domains is a mistake that’ll only hurt small businesses. I also don’t agree with the lack of oversight in the appropriation of the 20 million dollars that your organisation ICANN benefits from this arrangement. How will these funds be appropriated? To Whoever is concerned. I am not for price increase of top level domain name, one because there are no added benefits to show reason or justify increasing of the cost on a “software” name brand considering that your customer base has been on the increase and for still said domain name. Additionally its counter intuitive as businesses are striving to go online and with this in mind web development is still at its infancy to fully put most systems online. If this does continue we the internet users will look for a solution out as well as advise new clients on this rising cost and work together to create our own community based top level domain name servers to ensure that the internet remains cost effective enough to give more people a chance to be connected.
