As a small company owner, having the price of the domain name by 70% is outrageous. Maybe big companies don't mind, but I'm sure there are many small companies that will be affected by this. It stops small companies from being able to compete. Regards Carlos Singleton

Frankly, this fee increase is scandalous. I have seen no justification for it from ICAAN itself. You are supposed to be a non-profit organization. There is no transparency as to why this increase is being made or what you intend to do with the money. It looks to me to be an abuse of monopoly power designed to enrich those in your organisation. I feel so strongly about this that, if you persist, I shall make representations to the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition and to the Antitrust Law Section of California’s Attorney General’s Office. To Whom it May Concern; How does the proposed amendment benefit customers (the ones who will be buying and renewing .com domains)? Why was it proposed and decided behind closed-doors? And why does it allow an undisclosed price increase up to 8 times in the next 10 years? This is a bad move all-around. Don't do it.

Please do not increase the wholesale price of .Com domains every year, and ignore the unified opposition of such action. Price increases will hurt my business as well as my clients'. Dear Sir, I appeal to against jacking up the prices of .com domains because 1. Most businesses buying this domains are experimenting and do not have enough cash flow to support them and higher future prices 2.those in Africa will be hit had as this would lead them to pay much higher prices with poor local currency 3. Look, the internet is for small business and entrepreneurs. There are millions of us out there. These price increases affect the global economy of small business. It takes small players out of the game and leaves the field open only to those that can continue to support the infrastructure increases necessary to stay the course. I think we should consider volume of players over monetary increases. Such significant increases will definitely affect the size of the filed. Maybe that’s whats behind all of these increases. It doesn’t make the world more safe or more accessible. Just continues to concentrate wealth in the hands of a few. Please reconsider this amendment and vote against it. Thanks Renee Rolle-Whatley
