To whom it may concern, The proposed changes to the VeriSign and .com commercial arrangement, specifically the radical increases proposed in "8 out of 10 years" are completely unacceptable. .com domains were a symbol of the internet generation - a way to build business online. Increasing the prices this much is undemocratic and will lead to a rush to other domains, ultimately hurting your revenues. This is foolish and I suggest against it. Cheers Oliver

To Whom It May Concern (or not at all), If ".COM wholesale domain prices can grow by more than 70% over and above current prices over the next decade." - it is completely blatant that they will, and as a result the use of the .COM domain will become exclusively utilised by certain types of business'. The iconic status of the domains history will vanish and become nothing more than a capitalist symbol of power, if price driving is no longer because of demand and cultural relevance of the domain name but because of structural price increase at a wholesale level. individuals, small companies and non-profit projects will simply use alternative domains. To concerned authorities, I have .com domains that i am planning to use them . I believe that major corporations will not have much difficulty paying extra fees but for me that would be a very expensive as i am yet to start , expensive as well . Kindly dont increase the fees.

Hello, as a student and entrepreneur I find it very troubling that you wish to increase the .com domain. In ensuring your businesses success you need a viable internet presence. Without this you will most likely have a much harder time. This combined with studies is intolerable and will result in higher stress than necessary. The stress, according to studies (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5579396/) could severely damage the body. I hope you carefully consider this before acting. The price increase you want to make to the .com domains makes no sense. It seems to be something to profit at the expense of people, without any scruple. This is a robbery. I'm very upset, I think this is not fair. We will find a way to report this abusive practice to the competent authorities.

Hello, ICCAN I just learned about .COM domain proposal of raise prices every year. I don't think this is good news for most part users. If Verisign raises its prices unilaterally, it will inevitably drive the trend of rising prices of others top-level domain. This series of reactions will make the cost of setting up a website, especially for personal blog sites. This is likely to cause many websites to shut down due to the heavy burden of domain names. What is more frightening is that the price increase will increase the number of speculators and disrupt the market order. This is not what we want to see, we hope to see a more accessible registration price. With the increasing popularity of the Internet today, we should lower the threshold for website building, not raise him. Naturally, the .COM domain name as a representative shouldn't increase prices. We respect this proposal, but in today's environment, this proposal seems inappropriate. I hope ICCAN will take a closer look at the current background and the applicability of this document.
