Greetings, The proposed changes could have serious implications in developing countries like mine. I am an emerging Computer Scientist from South Africa and the Rand to Dollar exchange already makes domains very pricey. Allowing for .com domains to potentially increase by 70% in cost in the next ten years will make them less accessible and this is against the spirit of the internet. Kind regards, Tashiv

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.

Hi, I am writing to lobby against amendment 3 and the opportunity for .com price increases. I'm a front-end software engineer who relies on the affordability of .com domains every day. The internet relies on access to information and the ability to publish new information. We shouldn't hamper new ideas and new businesses with higher fees. Thank you, Ted Portland, OR

To Whom it May Concern: Please do not pass Amendment 3 to the .COM registry agreement, as any additional costs will be passed on to registry customers. This includes startups that do not or unable to take institutional funding, so every cost increase makes it increasingly difficult to continue operating, especially in early stages. To whom it may concern: I am in disagreement with these changes and feel they are unfair and can cause a huge affect on very small and minor business causing a financial burden down the road with expenses. There is no disclosure of what these increase in fees are for, why they are necessary nor how that money will be spent. Thank you for your time.
