It is very wrong the way ICANN and VERISIGN do these things behind closed doors. THEY ARE NOTHING WITHOUT US. I am completely against those raises as these companies make fortunes already. Having read the Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement, as a Service Provider and IT Specialist I would like to express my deepest concerns and provide strong disagreement regarding this proposal. ICANN and Verisign made these changes in secret, without consulting or incorporating feedback from the ICANN community or Internet users which will affect the way business is conducted and prejudice a lot of clients and internet users. With non-consensual price increases to services comes consequences such as a decline in usage and growth, negative feedback from market stakeholders which will lead to higher dis-popularity with the TLD .COM domains. These have been the main revenue generator in the TLD space making up 40%+ of all internet domains and going through with the proposed amendments can lead to a 50% drop in those numbers should users feel betrayed and manipulated without having been afforded the opportunity to have their voices heard. The Way Forward It is ICANN and Verisign's responsibility to ultimately bring all stakeholders to the table in deciding whether or not to go through with the proposed amendment through a voting system as well as agree or disagree on the proposed rates of increase on an annual basis. Hi there, I run a small business, and now running it online. Perhaps we think if I make website I will get much buyers online, but the reality it hasn't. Before I go online, I need to buy Internet Voucher every month so I can go online. And also I need to wait if there is a people who want to buy my Items or not. So I hope the price of domain name will not increase because it make us pay much money for a small profit I get. Hopefully, your business is running success. Thank you.

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Awais
