Incremental price increases like these are killing small business by death of a thousand cuts. Please stop these increases and lower prices as there’s no reason to increase prices whatsoever in this era of low price technology. Sent from my iPhone

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. Please look for revenue in other avenues. Keep the internet open to all by keeping prices low and access freely available to all. Don't look to the open internet to make corporate gains. Don't let greed take over. Build your business model in other ways. The internet was built because of low cost open access - and all the business that operates because of it was the result of low cost open access. This changes will result in .com being expensive and an increase will result in people switching to other cheaper tld alternatives that look bad. You need to keep it as is.
