To Whom It May Concern I am a customer of the .COM domain system, which I use to host my personal portfolio. Please don't allow Verisign to massively increase the costs of the wholesale .COM domain name price. To encourage an open internet, the cost of domain names should be DECREASING, not increasing, and it should be made available to more people. Hi, While it is understood that prices are going to be increased, it is to be remembered that now people have many options as well. Increasing .com will lead to non renewals. You cannot be serious? How did you think this would be a good idea? .COM wholesale domain prices can grow by more than 70% over and above current prices over the next decade where .COM domains make up over 40% of all registered domain names. I beg you reconsider this.

Hi, I'm writing to you with regards to the recent decision to increase prices of .com domain. Not only is this decision entirely unfair and sudden, but will affect the Blogger community all around the world. Most of the bloggers using .com are women nowadays, who cant pay enough to meet your 70% price surge. As a result, a lot of new bloggers will stop choosing .com domains, causing a blow to the internet and blogosphere. I implore you to please reconsider this decision and do what's fair to everyone. Hello. I object to removal of the .com Maximum Price restriction under Section 7.3(d)(i) (Maximum Price) of the .com Registry Agreement. I also object to the new pricing flexibility that allows annual price increases on .com domains in the last four years of each six-year period. Vague assertions that the changes will ensure the "security, stability and resiliency of the Domain Name System (DNS)" don't follow from the proposal. I see no connection between the stability of the internet and the pricing of the .com domain. If, for some unstated reason, ICANN and all the registrars need more money to manage the internet, then I would prefer to have the price increase spread over all domains, and not just applied to the .com domain. Better still, I think the US Department of Commerce should have the sole authority to set the wholesale domain price. To reiterate, I reject the proposed .com RA amendment.
