Hi ICANN, I think it’s ridiculous to make such huge decisions that affect all internet users without consenting the public, or anyone publicly for that matter. We see you scheming around, irresponsibility hiding details and giving us no clarity on the future policy changes or where your money is going. DON’T make websites inaccessible to anyone but the wealthy. DON’T raise prices.

I oppose the increase in .com price increases resulting from the contract change with Verisign. The cost increases will certainly be passed on to domain name owners, increasing costs for large and small businesses alike. These costs will be passed on to consumers. The way the contract is structured assures that there will be increases annually for 8 of the next ten years. That is unacceptable, particularly in light of the fact that these changes were made in secret without input from the ICANN community or Internet users. I urge you to reconsider the contract. Hey ICANN, I view this proposed increase as another way to keep domains and the internet in the hands of the wealthy. This absolutely stands against everything we want to believe the internet is - this great equalizer with a free flow of information. Students, kids, people in developing nations and the poor should all be able to afford in some capacity the cost (which can already be seen as prohibitive where it currently stands) Do not increase the cost of .com’s Sincerely, Jaimmie Riley

I am not in favor of amendments to the .com registry that are done without public consultation. Do not give any domain registry operator the license to jack up prices. Domain prices are already though to swallow as is.

I don't find your decision and cost increase impacts behind closed doors to be a transparent and beneficial behavior of the organization's that .coms have looked to to manage the internet's best interests. It is wrong and corrupt that you have gone behind our backs to squeeze from us, your end users, unfair and lavish increase of fees year after year to line your pocket without any comissorating benefit or recompense to all of us who have funded you since this market opened. Instead you just bleed our money from us until we no longer have heart to continue. I don't know how I can survive with such backstabbing market at its head. I will indeed defend what is rightfully mine to use without coercion or shakedown from self-serving profiteers!
