We've already seen too many price increases across the internet in the past year or two. Everyone wants their hand in the pockets of those they rely on but nobody asked for your hand in our pockets! We've already been steady with the price of .COM domains, they should be decreasing, NOT increasing since it's already a saturated market! This is a shady deal and goes against the public interest! STOP THE CORRUPTION before it's too late! Nobody asked for this, NOBODY wants it!! NOBODY needs it! Tim B

Please be advised that I am opposed to the proposed agreement made between ICANN and Verisign, and the price increases that will follow. I have purchased and held domain names for nearly 20 years, and feel I am a stakeholder in the internet and domain community. Decisions that affect me and other domain purchasers should not be made in secret and foisted upon us with no input from us, the customers who ultimately bear the burden of such changes. Please reconsider this agreement and include us in discussions for a more open and fair process. Thank you, Maria Oliver

It seems prudent to increase prices if the parties involved are losing money while offering the same services. Are they? It seems prudent to increase prices if the parties involved, offering the same services, are making less profit each year due to static pricing. Are they? A seven percent a year increase seems overly excessive considering the yearly changes in cost of living. It seems to me to be an arbitrary increase without offering any reasons for the increase. Simply saying the price has not increased for a period of years is less than helpful. How much have profits risen over those years? You appear to be asking for comments without offering information upon which to create an opinion and share it in the comments. Am I wrong? If so, please let me know. Thank you for your time. To whom it may concern, I believe the increase in price of .COM domains will make the internet a far worse place than it already is. We risk promoting further centralisation of online domains in business only to the rich and already established companies when the internet is supposed to be for the people. A concerned citizen

Hi there; I am opposed to the current proposal of price increase with a cap of $10.26 per year by 2026. Despite inflation and increased cost of human labor, the cost for compute and storage has gotten significantly cheaper over the past years, and this trend will continue, and thus the increase cost of domain registration maintenance. This is a simple economics of scale problem. If we're talking about managing 1000 domains, I can see that cost increase as a valid concern to keep up with the cost of inflation and cost of human labor; however, we're talking about managing millions and billions of domains, and makes the cost adjustment unreasonable. I do support an increase from the current $7.85 to a future $9.50 price point, such that it keeps pace with inflation for the next 10 years. Thanks, Andy Huang
