Hi Icann, Do not authorize the price increase for .com domains! Increasing the price does nothing beneficial for consumers and owners of the domains. Increasing the price would only harm owners of these domains. Thank you, Shawn

I am against the increase in price of .com domains. There are already plenty of domains that are priced too high due to squatters and those with no intention of using the domains. Keep the internet open and away from private interests. Jeremy Wright

It's been brought to my attention by Richard of Namecheap that there are proposed changes that may result in increased prices for the .com domain name. The lack of transparency for the additional funding and the proposed price increases without any valid benefits to the end user is not something that as a customer, I would endorse. Should you continue this path, me, along with my peers will endorse a different TLD e.g. .org or an alternative. Kuan Yew Tan

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry - it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.

Heard from Namecheap that .com domain will go up drastically. Please keep the .com domain affordable, delegate the $ to .com I'm a small business owner, growing my biz and could surely keep the over-head cost down. I am the registrant of a few .com domain name's and I am confused. Wasn't ICANN created to govern the domain name system in the public interest? I don't believe the currently proposed price increases to .COM names is in the public interest. Respectfully, Bob Nelson

I find the upcoming changes in the new deal between Verisign and ICANN is wrong. Important big decisions like this wich will affect millions of internet users should not be down to only two companies to decide. The internet consumers, both users and the industry as a whole should be listened to in big important deals like this. In many countries there are competion rules that wouldnt allow near monopolies like this being created. Please listen and respect the rest of us users and keep important deals like this transparent and open for inputs from all users of the net. We are one world. Lets work together and. Lets not let greed rule.

Hi, I am the owner of two .COM domain names. By no means I agree with this wild increase in the price of such domain names. Inflation is not 7% per year!!!! They are advancing against our rights and all in the name of dirty money!!!! Regards
