Letter to Icann This is to let the organization know that a fee increase of such magnitude, even spread over 4 years will be severely burdensome to our business. In reference to the domain name contract. These proposed changes would be a burden for small business owners who's overhead is already at a premium. Domain names should remain a nominal cost to businesses that have small websites that make a big difference to their online presence. Being able to afford an online name should be in reach for even the newest entrepreneurs. Any agreements about domain names should think about the smallest user. Not the largest user or profit. Current domain .com registrant and I’m against the price increases. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry - it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public - not corporate greed or profit. Sent from my iPhone
