I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. As a small business owner I am opposed to lifting the price caps on .com domains because they are standard for all businesses and not having reasonably priced access to a reputable domain will place an unnecessary barrier to new small businesses. The proposed price increases are unnecessary and unjustified considering that the costs of hardware are lower year by year, and the costs of maintenance and development are going lower because of the ever increasing use of ".com" domains, which results in bigger revenue. Please don't abuse the power you have. Do the right thing. A .com domain owner.

Hello, These price increases make no sense! With the sheer number of .COM should already be generating a generous profit! These price increases, to me, look like a ransom demand. What costs are rising at this fast a pace to justify. With the large scale infrastructure, and huge volume of domains involved, I would think they could lower prices and still do quite well. I am a registrant of over 300 domain names. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. This is just an excuse for profiteering. There is no additional value or service offered. And There are likely other organizations that would be happy to take over responsibility without raiding prices. If fact, if is not offered to competitive operators, that would make Verizon a monopoly. Dominick A Pino Medford

Hi Ma'am/Sir I'm an owner of a couple .COM domains, and I have a couple of personal websites up with them. Please, don't increase the prices of .COM domains. I know I'm just a big part of the nobody's who are sending you email with regard to the issue and you might not even read my email, but the internet industry and small people like us will be heavily affected by this change. New TLDs are already priced so much. I hope you will listen to nobody's like us. I hope your organization will do the right thing. Sincerely yours, Christopher Jamero
