Dear Councilors, During the December 2024 Council meeting, Support Staff captured the following action item: GNSO Council leadership to draft a letter to the GAC for Council review to better understand the GAC proposal from 15 October. The letter will focus on questions regarding the potential authentication methods for law enforcement and to further understand the expected policy work by GAC or other activities relating to urgent requests, in preparation for the meeting with the GAC and the Board.
