Dear Greg, Thank you for proposing this amendment. Next steps are as follows: John McElwaine and Juan Manuel Rojas, as submitter and seconder of the motion, will consider it and come back to Council either : * accepting the amendment as friendly, at which point the Council during the May monthly meeting will vote on the amended motion text * not accepting the amendment as friendly, at which point the Council will first vote on the proposed amendment. There will then be a second vote either on the motion text as originally submitted, or as amended, pending the outcome of the first vote. We believe it is important to have it on record (in the motion) that there are scope and principles stipulated by the Council at the outset and against which Council has evaluated and determined that the recommendations in the Final Report are consistent with such scope and principles. Please let me know if you have any questions.
