We all agreed that having new Councillors on the list as observers (i.e. without posting permission as Rafik recalls from last year) is a nice way to transition them into the Council. Plus, as they're observers, there's no harm done. It's a small point and I don't think we should be spending much time on it, but it does seem like a nice way of welcoming people to the Council. @Chuck last year, new councillors was added without being granted posting permissions and it helped a lot , I don't see any reason preventing the addition of new councillors to the list this year.
