Hi Caitlin, Thank you for circulating this draft letter and thanks to Council leadership for drafting. I believe it accurately conveys the discussions Council had with the Board members during our February meeting and conveys the proposed next steps well. I made a few suggestions in the draft for leadership to consider – mostly just wording edits rather than any substantive changes. Thanks Caitlin and Sam. For whatever reasons, I cannot see Sam's changes or comments. My comment is that the letter states that Board non-adoption initiates the conversation with Council but I think Article 9 of the Bylaws says that it's a letter from the Board that initiates the procedural steps for Council to arrive at Supplemental Recommendations? If correct, that should be specifically referenced. Hi Anne, I responded in the document but will respond here as well. Sam’s edits were editorial in nature, so we accepted them, which is why you can’t see them. Instead of “non-adoption”, the text now reads, “non-adoption and the subsequent steps in Annex A, Section 9 of the Bylaws”. I hope that addresses your concern.
