But you may not impose, much less foist, those sensibilities on me. If I may suggest this remedy: record an apology and don't show up for anything scheduled for your days. If we insist, I should be vociferously adamant that Emancipation Day (August 1) celebrated in the former British colonial outposts and Jamaica's Independence Day (August 6) may not be discriminated against and are duly recognized and adopted.
