Dear Olga, Thanks for clarifying that GAC is working on two different initiatives regarding restrictions in the DNS for geographic names - one at the top-level and one at the 2nd level. My question is still basically the same: can you tell us anything about the criteria being utilized for including a word within the scope of either initiative? Is there some connection between the two initiatives, especially in terms of the words GAC would want to see determined to be geographic names (and any the other terms that fall within the scope of these initiatives)? It certainly seems relevant to the work of this group.
