Thanks Greg. I think the question of anonymity was partly due to a confusion about how the template would work, so I¹ll clarify here in simplified steps. * Step 1: download the template (in fillable PDF or Word) * Step 2: enter feedback and general comments * Step 3: save and submit the template as an attachment to the public comment forum (this is an email address) NB: The template is not an online form * Step 4: confirm your comment to the forum (automatic email is generated this is to prevent spam) As we noted on the call, the template is a suggestion (strongly encouraged) for submission of comments, but it is not the only way to submit comments. Any comments submitted to the public comment forum will be considered, just as we have done for the past Public Comment. The template simply allows for a guide to submitting feedback, and also facilitates analysis and incorporation once the public comment period is closed. To maximize transparency of the consultation process, ICANN will: ... * Require that all comments be tagged with the sender's name and any relevant affiliation (where the individual is speaking on behalf of a group). Where the respondent is an ICANN Supporting Organization, Advisory Committee, or constituency group, some indication must be given of the process that was used to develop the comment and the parties who took part in that process. https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/expected-standards-2008-01-10-en Greg Shatan
